I grew up in Freeland and am a graduate of Hereford High school. I also married a Hereford graduate, and sent my two daughters to Hereford. From an early age I have been intrigued with architecture, statistics, and researching/analyzing markets. So a career in real estate was probably a fit before I even knew it. After graduating Winthrop University, in South Carolina, with a degree in Mathematics I parlayed my interests into a real estate appraiser’s license. I have worked as a certified appraiser in Maryland for the last 20+ years growing my own firm. Additionally, in the past ten years, I have assembled a team that takes on investment properties in the Baltimore Metro market. Now, I want to help council Buyers and Sellers through the real estate market with my unique perspective and experience as an appraiser and investor.
Outside of real estate I am currently squeezing as much time as I can with my wife and ours kids before they leave us for bigger and better things. I coach Cross Country and Outdoor Track at Hereford High School which lends itself well to my love for running and hiking. I aspire to travel more, seeing new places and meeting new cultures.
Favorite Place Visited… Chianciano, Italy. The quintessential Tuscan hillside town where our Italian friends take us in and treat us like family.
Secret Hidden Talent… Miniature golf ringer.
I’d rather be… Sharing stories with family/friends while playing cards or a board game.
Quirky Interest… Birding. Think Steve Martin in “The Big Year” only not nearly as well funded and much more casual. Also pairs well with hiking.
Totem Animal… Pelican. No real reason other than they draw my attention every time I spot them skimming over the ocean waves or dive bomb fishing.
